Milford
Town Library Board of Trustees
Trustee meetings are open to the public and held every
second Tuesday of the month, in the downstairs administrative reception
area in the library.
Members of the Board of Trustees represent overall
citizen control of the library to insure the provision of library service
to all members of the general public. They are responsible for the care
and management of the library as authorized by Massachusetts General Laws.
Responsibilities include employing a competent and qualified library director;
adopting written policies for the operation and program of the library;
determining the purposes of the library and secure adequate funds to carry
on the library's program.
Each trustee should know the program and needs of the library in relation
to the community and keep abreast of national library standards and trends.
Please feel free to contact
any of the trustees or the director with
your suggestions, comments or concerns.
