If you are not sure who to contact, an excellent social services referral source is Massachusetts 2-1-1. Visit their website, or call 2-1-1 or 877-211-6277. This 24/7 service recommends a complete spectrum of social services in Massachusetts. These include (but are not limited to) the Call2Talk service (mental health support and suicide prevention), Child Requiring Assistance (CRA) Line, Child Care Information Line, Disaster Services Line, Runaway Assistance Program (RAP) line, and Veterans Services.
