Adult Summer Reading 2026

Adult Summer Reading Program 2026

Milford Town Library is excited to present the 2026 Adult Summer Reading Program, Monday, June 15 - Friday, September 4!

This year's theme is "Plant a Seed, Read" and we're gamifying our reading logs to help you have some fun, while exploring food, gardening, and stories that connect us to our local culture and history! Everyone who participates will win a prize, but the more you participate, the more tickets you will earn to put toward our "Plant a Seed, Read" prize drawings.

To join in, starting on June 15 you can visit the Information Desk to pick up your "Milfordland" Garden Path Log, OR you may print the sheet from our website (attachment will be posted at the bottom of this page).

As part of our 2026 Adult Summer Reading Program, we have several in-person events for you to enjoy this summer. Check our calendar page for details and to register:

HOW IT WORKS

Much like a real garden path where you can meander or take a direct route, complete the Milfordland Garden Path in the order you choose! Rules for colored squares are on the reverse side of the Milfordland Garden Path board.

Finish four squares of any color to receive your first ticket. By completing the main part of the Garden Path using both Central St. Bridge and Pink Granite Pass, you’ll earn 4 tickets to distribute amongst whichever prize drawings you choose! By also completing squares 4-7 and/or 21-24 (skipping Central St. Bridge and/or Pink Granite Pass), you will earn BONUS tickets (4 per path section, up to 8)!

You can present your Milfordland Log at the Information Desk for verification and ticket(s). All Milfordland Logs must be submitted prior to our 6 p.m. closing time on Friday, September 4, 2026. Prize drawings and winner notification will take place Tuesday, September 8. Prizes can be picked up at the Information Desk anytime during regular Library hours, through Friday, September 18. Prizes not picked up will be awarded to another winner.
